5-20-2011 California:L.A. police detectives are looking for a car used in the fatal drive-by shooting of a 46-year-old man in Jefferson Park, they said Friday.
Terrence Bevills was shot about 8 p.m. Thursday as he stood outside a building in the 4000 block of Montclair Street, and police believe the crime may have been gang-related.
Police are looking for a Kia Soul that left the scene with two men inside, authorities said.
Bevills, who went by the nickname Tubz, died at a hospital following the shooting.
According to the state’s Megan’s Law database, Bevills is a sex offender convicted of assault with intent to commit a specified sex offense. ..Source.. by Richard Winton
